English Version: Our Story

The Visionary Spirit: YVES and the Art of Tasmanian Honey The story of mielleRie began in Bourges, a medieval city in central France. Our founder, YVES, entered the world of beekeeping in his teens and mastered the principles of organic farming. In 2005, his journey led him to the pristine wilderness of Tasmania.

For decades, YVES has explored the vibrant life force of the island’s diverse flora, creating “raw honey” in its purest, most natural state. His meticulous techniques and profound dedication have earned him deep respect and admiration within the Tasmanian beekeeping community. We are honored to share with you the authentic, untouched flavor of Tasmania, handcrafted by a true artisan.

Continuing the Legacy: A New Chapter with Chad & Ondrea In 2026, mielleRie entered an exciting new chapter under the leadership of Chad & Ondrea.

While the management has transitioned, the soul of our brand remains the same. We continue to honor and strictly preserve the original techniques and commitment to quality established by YVES. Every drop of honey continues to be produced with the same recipes and passion that define mielleRie.

To pour our absolute focus and heart into every single jar, we have streamlined our collection to a single “L size.” This change allows us to ensure the highest standards of quality and care for our customers.

With deep gratitude for our history and excitement for the future, Chad & Ondrea invite you to continue this sweet journey with us.

Australia’s Tasmania Island is designated as a zero-point (baseline) for environmental pollution by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), yielding 100% natural and pure honey exclusively harvested from its apiaries. Extracted at low temperatures with minimal filtration, each bottle is meticulously packed.

☆ Natural Honey Harvesting Method:
All harvesting methods utilize organic techniques.
The harvested honey is free from residual chemicals.
Hives are untreated with chemical agents, employing solely organic equipment and materials such as wooden hives.
During filtration and packing, no heat treatment is applied, preserving the honey’s natural minerals.

During the cold winter months when temperatures drop below 15 degrees Celsius, crystallization begins. Honey crystallization is a natural phenomenon and does not affect its quality. Crystallization is a testament to the 100% natural honey. Consume without melting. If melting is desired, gently warm the bottle in lukewarm water (35°C) without opening the lid, as excessive heat may alter its flavor.

※ Do not feed honey to infants under one year old, as it may pose a risk of infant botulism.
