Description
· The vitality of Tasmania, concentrated. The queen of honeys — known as “edible perfume.”
Tasmania, Australia — said to be home to the world’s purest air. Deep within the ancient rainforests of its west coast grows “Leatherwood,” a primeval plant that has existed for 65 million years and is found nowhere else on earth. From its blossoms comes this extraordinary honey: bold, distinctive, and complex, with a perfect harmony of spice and floral character. A single spoonful, and a field of flowers in full bloom fills your senses.
Raw and unfiltered, every drop retains the full nutritional integrity of living honey — with zero additives. No whipping or aeration. Finished through crystallization control alone, the texture is remarkably smooth. Savor a drop of bliss, nurtured by an ancient forest.
· Drawn by the wild magnetism — a “journey of destiny” that began with a 2kg black tin.
In 2000, Rebecca and her family left the United States and emigrated to Tasmania with their young daughter. The island’s singular magnetism, its ancient and untamed landscapes, and the boundless possibilities it held quietly ignited the adventurous, entrepreneurial spirit that had long been waiting within them. What changed everything was a gift: a gorgeous 2kg black tin of Leatherwood honey. That very first taste set a new life in motion — one that would revolve around the magnificent honeybee and the world’s finest honey. The path of a beekeeper who truly loves and dedicates themselves to the bees is never an easy one. Yet it is this very work — bottling nature’s gifts as they are, amid the rugged and breathtaking wilderness of Tasmania — that is the shape of their dream. In every single drop of honey lives a story of indomitable passion and the spirit of the wild.
· Delivered as nature intended, from the world’s cleanest place
The island of Tasmania, Australia, has been designated the “Zero Point of Environmental Pollution (baseline reference)” by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) — a place where the air and water are remarkably pure. Our honey is 100% natural and raw, harvested exclusively from pristine apiaries in this unspoiled environment. It is cold-extracted to preserve its nutrients, minimally filtered, and hand-bottled one jar at a time with the utmost care.
About Crystallization: Proof of Natural Purity
When temperatures drop below 15°C (59°F), the honey may solidify and turn white — this is called crystallization, and it is a sign that the honey is 100% natural. There is no issue with quality, and you can enjoy it just as it is.
-
To restore to liquid form: Loosely close the lid and place the jar in a warm water bath at around 40°C (104°F) for approximately 30 minutes.
-
Caution: Heating at high temperatures may alter the flavor and nutritional properties.
-
Important: Do not give honey to infants under 1 year of age, as it may cause infant botulism.
