WILD HIVES operates beekeeping in the heart of the East Coast of Tasmania, in a small town called Swansea. They do not wholesale to supermarkets or shops, but provide their honey to hotels, bakeries, and cafes in Tasmania. It might be challenging to come across their products while traveling. Swansea is about a 2.5-hour drive from Hobart. WILD HIVES ventures deep into Tasmania to engage in beekeeping. Additionally, they have been permitted to set up beehives on the rooftop of the Hobart City Hall, where they conduct trusted and meticulous natural beekeeping.

Australia’s Tasmania Island has been designated as a zero point (baseline) for environmental pollution by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), ensuring that the honey harvested from its apiaries is 100% natural and pure. Extracted at low temperatures and minimally filtered, each batch is meticulously bottled. This honey boasts high antibacterial properties, aids in balancing intestinal flora, and is highly valued for its anti-aging effects.

During the cold winter months, when temperatures drop below 15 degrees Celsius, crystallization begins. The crystallization of honey is a natural phenomenon and does not affect its quality in any way. It serves as a testament to the 100% natural origin of the honey. You can enjoy it as is without melting. If you wish to melt it, simply open the lid and immerse the bottle halfway in lukewarm water at 40 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes until it melts. Please note that exposing it to high temperatures may alter its taste.
